Check out Steve's result from the Ballbuster Duathlon - 36th from 360 finishers!!

Check out the splits - 1st 8 mile run - 51:24, 24 mile bike - 1:22:16, 2nd 8 mile run - 53:48!

Anybody would think he was fit!

wow he really can run.
Billy Whizz needs to do some work on his biking though, losing 16 mins to the winner in an hour and dropping time to those around his result shows if he wants to get serious he has to get out with the Rocko boys on the road and push himself more...................

Great result tough, Box Hill is a killer climb.

Looking at his bike split alone, 1:22 for 24 miles is really a bit tardy - on the back of that first run, maybe not.........

For Steve that is 1 hour of riding and 22 minutes picking himself up off the deck and getting back on his bike!

Steve probably did 30 miles weaving around to find all the deep puddles ;-)

PHEW!!! I'm glad that race is over my body is still feeling it after 5 days.
The course was at Box Hill,Dorking,Surrey, 8 mile laps, we had to run one loop then cycle (road bike) 3 loops
and then if you had anything left in yur tank run 1 loop.
The first 6 miles wasn't to bad a few hills and some steep descents but the last couple of miles went up a pretty steep climb (650m above sea level). managed to run the first lap in a comfortable 51:24 not quite sure what position i came in but was about 6 mins off leader.
Jumped on bike to do 3 laps (oh dear) i fink this is my weakest event a lot of bikes came by me,managed to get around in 1:22:16.
Off the bike now,'ouch' me feet av gone numb and me leg muscles are screaming!! (only 8 miles to go) it felt like i was walking around the course, it felt good overtaking most of those roadies must av reeled in about 50 of um.!
Weather conditions were good to us that day, managed to complete Ballbuster in 3:07:28 (damn lost a fiver was trying to beat 3:02 ) !! 36th place..... Not sure if i'll do this one again, unless one of you guys fancies ago..!!

(Steve sent me this rather than put it on his own site, think he's still a bit confused)
