All looks good to me. Alison has already said she won't come out for a socail tandem ride, 'coz she thinks Graham and I will be flat out everywhere. Us? Surely not? Don't worry, I'll talk her round. Meanwhile, what sort of riding do you think you'll be doing? We do 10-20 mile rides out through the lanes, together with some (very) gentle off-road stuff like Pitsford Reservoir etc.

Hmm, cable-op discs. We swapped ours out for Hopes first chance we got. If your cables are working, great; if not.........

We call ours "The Truck"

I think this will be "the barge". Solo rides up and down the drive whilst setting it up were interesting - I couldn't turn it round!

The Chavs at the local shop thought we were hilarious on last nights test ride.

I think we should all go out for 1 big social ride when the weather gets better. You and John on the Tandems, Glynn and I can bring our trailers along - and for anyone who thinks it will be too far/fast I'll bring along the 7 and 9 year old kids on their own bikes to ensure the pace is steady.

Sounds good to me, so long as I get to be in one of the trailers!

For the full "HGV" driving experience we can hook the trailers up to the tandems and have a go at wiping out an entire county.

I'll bring a trailerfull of beers, and maybe my dog will come along for a ride.

This all sounds splendid. To anyone that's interested, Ali and I are doing a couple of laps of Pitsford res on Sunday on the tandem (truck), probably mid-late a.m. It might well be damp and breezy but Ali's set on it so who am I to argue ;-) See you there if you fancy it.
